Before you begin
Create an account and open the dashboard
First, open the VPNUQ account setup page. Create an account with a username and password—no email address is required. Choose a username you’ll recognize that doesn’t reveal your password, and keep the password separate and secure. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue to the dashboard, then make sure it shows your account before checking plans. This makes it easier to identify which account a subscription link belongs to later, without searching across browser windows.
If the page says your username is already taken, choose another and try again. If you don’t reach the dashboard after submitting, check the message on the page instead of creating multiple accounts to troubleshoot the same issue. If you already have an account, select “Log in” at the top of the site to continue with it. Your subscriptions and orders are managed in the dashboard, so use the same account when you return.
You don’t need to install a client yet. Confirm that you can access the dashboard first, then choose a plan. This helps avoid finding out during import that your account doesn’t have an active subscription.

Check your plan before placing your order
Open the plans section in the dashboard and decide whether you need a monthly plan or a data package that lasts until its data is used. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB, and never expire. Everyday browsing, AI tools, and extended video streaming use different amounts of data, so estimate your needs before choosing rather than comparing prices alone.
Once you’ve chosen a plan, open its order page and check the plan name, price, and data allowance before following the payment instructions. VPNUQ accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. A single subscription supports unlimited devices; this does not change the plan’s data allowance. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Check the order details in the dashboard before making changes.
After placing your order, return to the dashboard and check your subscription status before continuing. If the status hasn’t updated yet, don’t import a payment screenshot or order details into the client—the client needs the subscription content provided in the dashboard. Check plan terms and refund details on the plans page. VPNUQ offers a 30-day refund policy.
Open the plans sectionAfter your order is confirmed
Get your subscription link from the dashboard
Return to the account overview and confirm that your current subscription appears under your account. Then find the subscription or client import option provided in the dashboard. This link lets a client load your server list; it isn’t a public server information page or an installer. Copy the link from the dashboard and keep it on your clipboard while you open the client on your device.
When copying the link, make sure you don’t include extra spaces, line breaks, or page text before or after it. If your client offers options such as “Import” or “Copy Subscription,” choose the one supported by your device. If you’re unsure, copying the link and using “Import from URL” in the client makes it easier to check each step. Don’t post your subscription link in public comments, shared documents, or on unfamiliar websites; it grants access associated with your account.
Seeing the link doesn’t mean your device is connected. The client still needs to read it and update the list of available regional routes. If you can’t find the subscription in the overview, check the order status first, then visit the Help Center for account and subscription issues. Don’t replace it with a supposed generic subscription address found in search results.

Import it into a client on your device
Choose your platform in the client downloads area in the dashboard. Install or open a compatible client, then find its Subscription, Configuration, or Add section and choose Import from URL. Paste the link copied from your account overview, save it, and refresh the subscription. Wait for the regional routes to appear in the client. Continue to the connection step only once you can select a region and route. If the list is empty, check the subscription source and refresh status first.
Client settings vary by platform and version. The instructions below highlight the relevant menus and system prompts for each platform. Use the client download method provided in the dashboard, not an installer page from an unknown source. You don’t need to enter protocol settings manually: this guide shows how to load an existing subscription into a client, not how to build a route configuration yourself.
Windows: Add a subscription in the subscription manager
Open the downloads area in the dashboard and get the Windows client. Once it’s open, look for Subscription Management in the sidebar or top menu, then choose Add Subscription or Import from URL. Paste the link, save it, and refresh the subscription. Confirm that regional routes appear in the list. If the client shows both local configurations and remote subscriptions, select the remote subscription you just added to avoid connecting with an old configuration.
macOS: Check network extension permissions
Open the macOS client download page from the dashboard and install the client. In its configuration or subscription section, add your link and refresh the subscription. The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to allow a network extension or add a network configuration. Confirm the prompt is from the client you just opened, then follow the system instructions to grant permission. Return to the client and check that the imported routes are still listed under the active configuration.
Android: Confirm system permission after importing
Choose the Android client in the dashboard’s downloads area. In the app, paste your link under Add Configuration, Subscription Management, or Import URL. Refresh the list and select a route. The first connection usually brings up an Android VPN connection confirmation. Make sure the prompt is for the client you selected, then grant permission. Return to the app and check the connection status; saving a subscription alone doesn’t mean you’re connected.
iOS: Open the client using the dashboard instructions
First, check the iOS client option in the dashboard and follow its instructions to get a compatible client from the App Store. Open the client, find Add Subscription or Import from URL, paste the link, and refresh the routes. The first connection may prompt you to allow a VPN configuration. Grant permission, then return to the client and choose a route. If the app uses different labels, look for its subscription import feature in the current interface.
For Linux, check the dashboard for the compatible client and import instructions. Your subscription is tied to your account, so you don’t need to place another order when switching devices. However, each device needs its own client import and system permission setup. If import fails, identify whether the link wasn’t accepted, the subscription failed to refresh, or a route appeared but won’t connect. Then check the relevant topic in the Help Center.
After the routes appear
Connect to a route and verify your exit location
Choose a region from the client’s route list that suits the service you want to use, then select Connect. Once the app shows that you’re connected, open a page you want to access and check that it loads. The connection status confirms that the client has established a session; to see where your traffic exits, open this site’s network check page and confirm that the displayed exit IP and location match your selection.
If the client says you’re connected but the exit location isn’t what you expected, make sure your browser isn’t showing an old result and reload the check page. Then check which configuration and route are selected in the client. Some clients require you to switch to a new route manually after refreshing the subscription. Also check whether another network configuration is active on the device. For a reliable check, use the same device and browser throughout so you don’t mistake another device’s results for the current connection.
If the route list looks normal but you can’t access the service you want, try another route in the same region and note any error message from the client. If the issue affects only one app, check whether it also affects web browsing. There’s no need to change advanced protocol settings on this page. For connection troubleshooting, visit the Help Center; for details on protocols and the differences between direct, relayed, and dedicated routes, see Routes and Protocols. You now have a connection history you can retrace from account setup through subscription, client import, and exit location verification.
